Privacy Policy
Couponally stores your promo codes, store tags, and expiry reminders locally on your iPhone. This page describes what the app may touch on your device, what never gets uploaded, and how data tied to this website is treated.
Effective date · July 8, 2026
- Save a code in seconds Paste a promo string, pick a shop, set an optional expiry — your coupon lands in a private vault. No account, no newsletter signup, and no social login required.
- Deals stay yours alone Store names, discount amounts, notes, and custom labels are never sold, bundled, or passed to ad networks to guess what you might buy next.
- Built with a small footprint We do not read your email, harvest contacts, or follow your location. Couponally requests only what helps you remember offers that matter to you.
What this policy covers
This document applies to the Couponally iOS application available on the App Store and to the informational pages served from this domain. It is meant for anyone who installs the app or browses these pages.
Information the app uses
Couponally does not require your legal name, email address, phone number, home address, government ID, or credit card data to work.
Promo codes you save, expiry dates you set, and notes you attach stay on your device. Your personal vault is not sent to our servers for analytics, audience building, or resale.
When the app loads shared content — onboarding slides, category names, tip snippets — it may call public endpoints on this site. Those responses carry generic copy only; nothing from your private coupons is ever transmitted back.
Device permissions
Couponally may ask for notification access so you can receive expiry alerts or weekly deal reviews that you turned on yourself.
Photo library access appears only when you attach a screenshot of a voucher or a barcode image to an entry. Microphone, contacts, and precise location are not requested unless a future release clearly needs them and this policy is updated first.
Basic storage and network access let the app run and pull optional template updates. Crash diagnostics handled by the platform store follow that store's own privacy rules.
Third-party services
Hosting providers keep this policy page and public API routes available. They may retain server logs for security and reliability under their separate privacy terms.
If we add analytics or support tooling later, each vendor will be listed here and data sharing will be limited to what they need to operate.
Age requirement
Couponally is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal details from children. If a minor entered data by mistake, reach out through the App Store support channel and we will help with removal where possible.
Retention and security
Your saved codes, tags, and reminders remain under your control on your device. Remove individual coupons inside the app or uninstall to wipe local storage entirely.
We apply reasonable safeguards to pages and server-side components we operate. No system is perfectly secure — treat discount notes with the same care you would any private shopping list.
Your choices
You may stop using Couponally at any time. Disable notifications or revoke optional permissions in iOS Settings for a quieter experience.
To request access, correction, or deletion of information we handle directly, use the developer contact listed on the App Store page.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this text as Couponally evolves or as legal requirements shift. The date above marks the latest meaningful update. Continued use after a revision means you accept the updated version where permitted by law.
